When my nation elected Mr Donald Trump
to the United States' highest executive

on 08 November y2016, we elected the old,
old normal.
Certainly … … NO change was this !
We elected violence. We elected bigotry.
We elected a President who, in no uncertain
terms,
has promised to roll back the status of
ALL American
women ---
even those who voted for him ---
from human, ...
... to something less - than.
This, and two

similarly reasoned statements, are
exactly why at all I
placed my wager.

from anywhere else, not poverty, not jobs or trades

not militias, veterans' affairs nor

not religions nor freedoms thereof nor even
therefrom.
Just for one reason did I place my wager as
